Other outreach topics included general services information for ODU’s Office of Counseling Services, managing stress with cognitive coping strategies, and screenings for alcohol use and depression among first year ODU students. Served as the co-supervisor for Emory University’s Helpline, a volunteer organization of undergraduate students who supported the safety and mental health of their peers through an anonymous phone hotline. Taught the Helpline’s annual volunteer training, a 12-week program that consisted of lectures and role plays around various mental health topics. (Aug. 2016 - June 2018)
